Keep calm and respect the fact that your sauna guest has come for a quiet moment
The sauna here at Hellasgården in Nacka, Stockholm, is a place for recovery and recreation. Please respect that many of our guests come for these very reasons.
Sauna with colleagues? Take a look at our suggestions for different conference packages!
We expect you as a guest to be considerate of other guests in order to achieve an optimal environment with minimum strain on the facility and maximum consideration for other guests.
Sauna open in the evening - here's how it works this summer
From 24 June to 18 August, the sauna is hot from 16-20. You book your visit as usual here on the website.
Showers and changing rooms open during the day in summer
During this period, you can only use the shower and changing rooms until 14:00, for example to exercise or swim in the lake. You pay admission to the shower and changing room at the reception - no pre-booking. Price 60 SEK.
How your sauna visit works from 19 August
When you book your sauna visit, you choose the start time. The first start time is 8:45 on weekdays and 9:15 on weekends. The last start time is 19:15 on weekdays and 16:15 on weekends.
Your visit will last 90 minutes. After each visit, the facility is emptied of guests for cleaning and maintenance.
This arrangement will therefore start on 19 August 2024 with the aim of further improving the quality of your visit - we, the facility operators, will have more opportunities to round (keep clean) the facility and control the number of visits.
Book your appointment online - drop in on weekdays only
If you arrive at the resort without a reservation, the staff will ask you to make a reservation on the spot using your mobile phone.
The reason for this is that we need to be able to control how many guests we have in the facility and we want to eliminate the risk of you as a guest coming here without a place for you - it happens several times a week that the facility is fully booked and or reserved.
Drop-in is only possible for the first three start times on weekdays (8:45, 10:30 and 12:15). However, we recommend everyone to book online also on weekday mornings, to ensure a place. This is especially true during the high season.
How to reschedule your appointment
Your entrance ticket can be rebooked to another day (only online and no later than 6 hours before intended arrival) if you have chosen a rebooking guarantee in connection with the booking, a rebooking guarantee costs SEK 20 per person. NOTE! If you have a group booking, it is not possible to rebook for any of them, but you rebook for the entire booking. Therefore, you must have a rebooking guarantee for all persons in the same booking.
Here's how to reschedule:
Click on Change (the text in blue colour for good visibility, no later than 6 hours before your planned arrival) in the receipt that you received from us by email when you made the booking.
If it's been a while since you booked, search for "Hellasgården" in your email, and you'll find the confirmation.
Then choose a new time for your visit.
However, your admission ticket cannot be cancelled.
If you book when there are less than two hours left until closing...
We usually close at 9pm on weekdays. If you book a visit that starts later than 19:00, you must still be out of the facility when we close, so your visit will be less than two hours.
Respect the calm on Thursdays!
We have different themes and activities, such as Aufguss on Wednesday evenings and quiet evenings on Thursday evenings. Some guests come to us on Thursdays just to have a moment of peace, quiet and silence. Please respect this. If you want to spend time with your friends, we would like you to book another time.
NOTE! Quiet Thursdays are cancelled until October when autumn darkness falls.
Together we keep it clean and tidy
You as a guest and we as operators also have a shared responsibility to ensure that the facility is clean and tidy - we have recycling bins for plastic, paper, pet and other items in the changing rooms - and that unnecessary congestion is avoided.
Forgotten things
Stored items are kept outside for two weeks. Staff cannot go through all forgotten possessions, so if you have forgotten something, you are asked to look for it yourself. You do not need to call/email us beforehand.
