Schools are welcome to book the sauna and changing rooms for ice hockey practice:

Monday to Friday: 07:45-09:45 hours

Residential guests have access to the changing rooms before 10 a.m. It is not possible to book the sauna after 9:45 a.m. for ISVAK.

Remember that the facility must be left in the same condition as it was when you arrived. It is important that you as a teacher include time for changing and cleaning so that everyone is out and done with the cleaning. This time is at least 15 minutes. If you order the cleaning from us, this means that you should be out 15 minutes before your booked time. The cleaning of the sauna and changing room can be pre-ordered via email. It is not possible to order it on site.

For everyone's comfort, we would like to draw teachers' attention to the fact that it is cold outside and students need to be somewhere to warm up. It is fine to book the room in advance for that as the reception is not designed for that. It gets crowded quickly in the Café. Thanks in advance!

Sauna: 1500 SEK/hour per department.

Cleaning: 750 SEK/section. NOTE! Cannot be ordered on site.

Booking is done via info@hellasgarden.se and paid with the invoice to the school in advance. No cancellations possible after the invoice has been sent to the school.

Ask your finance department for details and then email invoicing details to irina@nybergforlag.se, please indicate dates, times of visits and reference.

In case of unauthorised cleaning, 2000 SEK will be charged. The cleaning must be pre-ordered via email. 

In case of non-compliance with the rules (see Rules), 1000 SEK will be charged. 

OBS! Damage will be charged extra. 

Please note that our reception does not have the capacity to act as a warming hut. We recommend schools to rent our facilities with school discount, 50 %.

Small heating cabin with kitchen (approx. 30 people): 350 SEK/hour 

Large heating cabin without kitchen (approx. 60 people): 500 SEK/hour

Both premises: 750 SEK/hour.

Cleaning of the boiler room: 500 SEK/room (can be done by yourself and takes at least 30 minutes per room).  

Grill rental: 100 SEK/hour. If you want us to light the grill, 200 SEK will be added.

Before your visit we would like to tell you that sustainability work is very much in focus at Hellasgården. 

The buildings and sauna units are heated and powered by 100% renewable energy - currently a mix of solar, wind and water. The company that runs Hellasgården offsets part of its operations. We are aiming for our own electricity production and the goal is to become a fully climate-neutral facility. 

What you will see on site is the sorting of waste and that we have products that are organic, healthy and tasty at the same time!

Caring for nature is a matter of course for us. We ask visitors to be mindful of picking up after themselves. For example, small plastic wrappers from the straws on festis are easy to miss and examples of things we pick up daily.

If you are barbecuing or having a meal on the site, we ask that you take care of your own waste. If you want to leave your waste with us, we can offer the following:

100 SEK - you sort your own waste and put it in our bins (ask the staff to show you where and how)

 500 kr - you leave your waste in bags with us, but do not sort it.

Team Hellasgården

We encourage teachers to arrive well in advance, at least 15 minutes before the activity starts, and to book the best place for the exercise. If possible, use the western one (left one when looking out from the sauna building towards the lake). Use the middle dock only if the west dock is not available. 

Pupils wait outside reception while teachers go into reception to contact staff and get the day's four-digit code for the doors at the back of the changing rooms.

Those responsible for each changing room (one male, one female) confirm their details to us. Cleaning takes place 15 minutes before the booked time. Mop the changing rooms and toilets, flush the hose in the showers. Wet the sinks and dispose of rubbish. 

We ask for a phone number of one of the teachers who will be present during the day.

Students then enter through the back doors with the code and leave the shoes and slippers on the balcony. 

When a pupil has bathed, he or she takes off his or her clothes and, as soon as possible, puts the wet clothes in a plastic bag on the patio. 

The student warms up in the sauna sitting on a towel, showers and scrubs up after himself, both in the changing room and in the shower. When the student is finished, he or she goes out the back. Use the hose in the shower area but certainly not in the changing room where you mop.  

Responsible teachers make sure that students keep up and stay calm in the changing rooms. 

Before departure, the teachers in charge make sure that the changing rooms are left in the same condition as they were when they arrived. The teacher in charge will contact the staff to have the cleaning checked and approved. 

Teachers remind their students to take all wet clothes with them - Hellasgården may otherwise have to throw them away that evening. This is for hygienic reasons.

After the ice-axe exercise, students are often very cold and excited. Our small reception is for other guests only, students are allowed to shop but not to stay in the reception/café. Inform students about this!

Checklist for students

- Plastic bag for wet clothes. 

- Towel and slippers.

- change of clothes 

Rules of conduct in the sauna, changing rooms and reception. Review these guidelines with your students before you arrive!

- Only students who are doing the exercise are allowed in the changing rooms.

 - Inga shoes, food or music in the sauna.

 - Keep the noise down, no raised voices and no running.

 - Only towels are allowed in the sauna, not wet clothes and shoes for drying. This is for hygienic reasons.

- Keep changing rooms and showers clean.

 - Use the squeegee regularly, taking care of wet clothes immediately.

 - The teacher in charge needs to be present in the changing rooms, make sure that the cleaning is kept up and that the pupils stay calm.

 - Students are not allowed to linger in reception.
